So google has finally opened the gates to their new AppInventor web interface. For those of you who don’t know what AppInventor is, Google announced a couple months ago that they were creating a web interface that people who don’t know programming code can use to create mobile apps for android cell phones. How they would do this is by using existing blocks of code/data that has already been created and piecing it all together like a puzzle! This means you don’t need to know ANY programming languages or have ANY programming experience!
The point of this is to get people interested in creating apps by making it very easy for them. Then once they’ve got a taste and want to customize even more, they’ll hopefully go and really learn how to program and make some truly amazing applications!
So far they have only shown previews of it (you can watch the video below) but they have finally begun approving people who signed up on the launch day (like us) for use!!!
We look forward to seeing what everyone can do with this tool and hopefully we’ll see a lot more really creative apps!!
