Looks like another case of online stores posting information too early, this time we find that an online German site had listed the new Microsoft Arc Mouse Touch for sale for €69.99. It has since been removed but Amazon.ca has it listed for $79.99 shipping October 7th 2010.
The main new features with this mouse seem to be the fact the scroll wheel has been replaced with a touch sensitive pad that allows the user to glide over the surface to scroll through pages.
Amazingly enough as well, it apparently can be bent in any curve form to fit perfectly in the palm of anyone’s hand while using it, and then while carrying it around it can be bent down so it becomes flat allowing for easier storage.
They have also added a battery indicator, a bluetrack sensor so it can work on almost any surface and works off of a 2.4Ghz radio to the computer.
So far this is looking pretty promising as a nice replacement to Microsoft’s current ultra comfortable Arc Mouse, all we need now is an official announcement!
