Our friends over at eurogamer seem to have gotten their hands on some rather interesting news. Apparently from 3 different development sources, Sony is showing off behind closed doors to developers a new PSP that is roughly the same size as the 3000 series but has touch controls on the back side of the screen!
Sony has apparently already settled on a business model for it and some are saying it will launch near the end of next year.
This is an interesting concept as that is the one major problem with touch screen devices now a days. You can’t see through your own fingers so it’s hard to see what you’re tapping away at. Moving these controls to the back could be very nice depending on how sensitive and what kind of controls you need to do! Let’s keep our eyes and ears peeled for this one!
